1. To change the by-law to include snow machines as motor vehicles 2. To put a curfew in place for all motor vehicles using the green belt , which would limit there use of the area to periods they would not be bothering or harming others 3. To set a speed limit on trail in green belt used by others for other means. 4. To vehicles such as snow machines should have bigger license plates and fewer numbers so they are more easily seen and easier to remember. 5. To have reserved paths for motor vehicles only and other paths for others such as walkers, skiers, snowshoeing, etc. There are towns and cities who have such arrangements and every couple of years exchange trails. 6. To ban all motor vehicles from the green belt between Hillcrest and Granger, Paddy's Pond and ValleyView because of the frequent use of school aged children in this area. As well to prevent further ecological damage presently apparent along these trails. 7. To replace the cement barriers across entrance ways to trails in the green belt stated above, in a way that makes access by motor vehicles impossible or very difficult. 8. To establish a meaningful consequence for owners of vehicles who's machines are used inappropriately 9. To make it clear and well known to the public to report disturbances by motor vehicle along green belts to By-law and not just the RCMP. 10. To advertise concerns and proper use of green belts by motor vehicle owners through public media. ![]()
