WELCOME TO GADZOOSDAA The staff would like to welcome you to Gadzoosdaa Student Residence and Whitehorse for this school year. You will be attending a residence that is dedicated to the well-being of it’s students and we hope that your stay will be happy but, most of all, educationally productive. Many prominent northerners have stayed at this student residence while completing their high school education. You will have many challenging opportunities that will help you to achieve pride in your culture, and your own special talents as a growing and contributing member of our Northern and Canadian society. This handbook is for students and parent(s)/guardian(s). We have outlined some of the aspects of the student residence that will introduce you to the programs and our expectations. One of our major concerns is your dedication to school and we hope that we can help you find success in your schooling while you are a resident. |
