Our school will now be known as Nelnah Bessie John School in honour of late elder and respected teacher, Bessie John.

We believe that everyone has the potential to learn. We further believe that the school and community are partners and must work together.

We wish to provide a healthy, family-like learning environment and the necessary experiences to allow all pupil to develop to their fullest potential- artistically, emotionally, intellectually, socially and physically, and in so doing become responsible members of society.
