A. Pre-project
The first step is to register for the project. You will receive a confirmation email (along with this outline and the project description page in a text file), and on Monday, January 4, 1999, you will receive a list of the participating schools.
B. Week 1-2 (January 11 - 22)
The students compose a HELLO LETTER introducing themselves to the other participants. Please have all HELLO LETTERS sent by January 22. The HELLO LETTER should include:
Name of School:
Location: (town, city, country)
Grade/Age of students:
Description: (in 200 words or less describe your community/class)
Please also include any extended breaks your school will be on during the duration of the project (ie: Spring Break)
C. Weeks 3-6 (January 25 - February 19)Each participating class will develop 5 questions about wolves that they would like the other classes to answer. Please have these questions sent by Friday, February 5.
Students will then research the answers to the other schools questions and will send in their findings by Friday, February 19.
D. Week 7-9 (February 22 - March 12)
Students will compile and summarize the data. These summaries will then be sent to Wolf Web. All summaries must be received by Friday, March 5.
The summaries from each school will then be posted on this web site on Friday, March 12, 1999.
