Polar bears have long strong necks and legs. They have two fur coats. Their soles have black pads. They have black skin, white fur and hollow hairs. Male Polar bears weigh 280 kg. Full grown bears are 24-27 m long. Their color is cream, pure white and often yellow. They have a good sense of smell.
When Polar bear are born, they are tiny and helpless. They drink their mother's milk. The babies follow their mother. They weigh about 1 kg. Their weight when they are born is about as much as an apple. Mother Polar bear has 1-3 babies. The baby Polar bears have no fur when they are born.
This bear is an omnivore because it eats both plants and meat. They
eat sea birds, fish, and seals. They eat whales, walruses and berries.
Polar bears eat honey, bees, and grass. They also eat plants, insects,
meat, mice, rabbits, eggs and trash.
The Polar bears’ enemies are people, bald eagles, and male bears.
Polar bears are good swimmers. They are marine mammals. They have blue
eyes.
