Congratulations to WES students
that participated in the annual Information Technology Fair
2002
Our students did extremely well
in the Information Technology Fair held at Elijah Smith Elementary
on May 3/2002. Every student attending from Whitehorse Elementary
placed in the finals. We received many compliments on our students
and the quality of their work. Projects entered represent the
work of many of our students however we could only have 1 student
per project demonstrating at the fair. The IT Fair 2002 results
for WES are as follows:

Demonstrated by Nathan (Ms. Gurtler & Ms. Bort's Grade
1/2 class) created by Deana, Travis, Bryan, Trinda, Terry,
Chris, Christinna, Nathan, Aisha, Ashlee, Greg, David,
Jesse and Ryan. Nathan received a medal as well as group
plaque for the school.

of our students received medals as well as won various
door prizes including T-Shirts, IT bags, movie theatre
passes and computer software like Microsoft Office for
home. A special thank you to the WES teachers: Lucille
Gauthier, Cindy Marceau, Corinne Gurtler, Pat Bort,
Sofie Maurice, Gloria Roman and Pat Berrel for
assisting with the projects and encouraging the
students to demonstrate what they learned.
