A. Getting set up
1. Go to the CPH folder (ok…ok) on the server and create a new folder with your names & iMovie on it such as “Fred_Ted_iMovie_folder.” This is where you should save all files to be used on this project.

2. Go to the Human Rights Photos page and select the pictures you want to use for your presentation. Make sure you click on the thumbnail picture to see the largest view. Download them to your folder that you created in CPH. Please do not renamed them, leave them as “055.jpg” for now.

3. Use the Human Rights & iMovie Project Storyboard and complete 4 scenes before you begin creating your iMovie. You are expected to do a draft of your work before using iMovie. Each time we work together you must have at least 4 scenes ready on paper (your storyboard).
4. Launch iMovie2 and click New Project on the opening screen or choose New Project from the File menu.
5. Type a name for your project such as “Fred_Ted_iMovie” and save to the folder you created in CPH. Click Create. iMovie creates a folder for the new project and the iMovie workspace appears.

6. To add the Photos you wish to use go to File menu....Import File and find your folder of images that you downloaded from our Human Rights Photos page on the server. You should see your photos on the iMovie shelf.
