Trading Card Projects
Task
You are going
to create your own Pet Trading Cards to exchange with
others!
Process
1. Choose
from the following pets: Cats, Corn Snake, Gecko,
Gerbil, Dogs, Ferret, Goldfish, Guinea Pig, Hamsters,
Iguana, Parakeet, Parrots, and
Rabbits.
2. Visit our Pet
links to find
information about your chosen pet.
3. Print your information
on the Pet
Project Trading Card Draft 1 (complete with your
buddy)
4. Revise your information
and copy on the Pet
Project Trading Card Draft 2 (complete in the classroom)
5. Begin your final copy
on the computer with the Pet
Project Trading Card 3 (download & complete
in AppleWorks 6). You will enter your name and information from
your draft paper. Draw a picture of your animal on the trading card.
Save as "your_name_pet."
6. Congratulations now you
can go to the Pet
Fun page and
enjoy!
Conclusion
You
will print your card and exchange with your
classmates. You will save your trading card as a jpeg
and we will upload them to the internet for everyone
to see!
