Introduction Have you ever heard of the aye-aye? Or the okapi? There are so many fascinating animals in tropical rainforests that millions haven't been named or even identified yet. In fact, about half of all the world's species live in tropical rainforests.
Task You will create a multimedia presentation using an AppleWorks SlideShow template to show all the things you have learned about your Rainforest animal.
Process

Choose an animal from the Rainforest Sign Up posted in the computer lab. Try to choose a really unusual animal that you would like to know more about and would be interesting to others. If you are not sure what an animal looks like view the pictures I have gathered on Rainforest Animals page.

Write a draft of the information you have found following the assignment sheet handed out in class. Bring this to the lab to begin entering the information on the Rainforest Animal Slideshow. Take a look at the Rainforest Animals page for pictures. Some ideas of information to gather: (Remember to check your spelling, punctuation and use complete sentences)
